If you run a business, school, hospital or community organisation in Victoria, there’s never been a better time to go solar. Under a new initiative, the Victorian Government is offering significant rebates for commercial solar PV systems sized between 30kW and 200kW.
This new rebate is designed to make solar more affordable for non-residential sites—cutting installation costs and accelerating the shift toward clean, low-cost energy.
Who’s Eligible?
This rebate is open to all Victorian businesses and non-residential sites, including:
– Local government buildings
– Schools and hospitals
– Aged care facilities
– Warehouses and factory rooftops
– Retail outlets and offices
– Community centres
To qualify, your solar system must be installed by an accredited provider and meet the size and product requirements outlined below.
*Figures are based on a VEEC price of $70 and may vary.
You may also be eligible for additional federal incentives such as:
– STCs for systems under 100kW (Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme)
– LGCs for systems over 100kW (Large-scale Renewable Energy Target)
To qualify, your solar PV system must:
– Be between 30kW–200kW
– Be installed on non-residential premises
– Include a 30 kVA+ inverter
– Be connected to the local distribution network
– Use CEC approved panels and inverters
– Support a monitoring portal accessible by the end user
Is Battery Storage Included?
Yes! Businesses installing solar systems under 100kW may be eligible for a 30% rebate on battery installation.
Combining solar with battery storage allows your business to generate, store, and use your own power—reducing peak energy costs and boosting your energy independence.
At Limitless Energy Solutions, we’re accredited providers with lots of experience in commercial solar installations. From system sizing to rebate applications, we’ll help you manage the process from quote to install.
